LBE is an engineering-enterprise for development and supply of industrial burners and combustion systems for different purposes

Core competence of LBE are systems with integrated air preheating and customized solutions with gaseous, liquid and dusty fuels.

The company was founded in 1988. Origins were the burner activities of the LOI-Group (S&A, LOI Thermprocess).

In 1998 LBE became a subsidiary of G. Kromschröder AG in Osnabrück. In 2007 LBE, Kromschröder and other companies have merged becoming Elster GmbH.
